SAVE THE FARMERS MARKET ON THIRD STREET SOUTH

On October 5th City Council will decide if the Third Street Farmer's Market can be held on Third Street South from November 19, 2016 through April 29,2017 from 7:30am-11:30am as it has been for the last several years.  Because there were a few people who were against the farmers market on the street, the vote at the August 16, 2016 City Council meeting was postponed.  If the City Council, does not approve the permit application for the street at theOctober 5th meeting, the farmers market cannot take place.  It cannot be safely held in any location other than on the street because of its popularity with residents and visitors who attend in large numbers.
