The River Park Community hosted a candidate forum Wednesday evening February 28th. Gary Price, however, did not participate.
Despite declining to participate in the River Park Community event Mr. Price attended and participated as a guest (candidate for Mayor) speaker at the Elite Jets 80th Celebration at the Naples Airport Wednesday evening February 28th.
One has to wonder why Mr. Price would spread a false narrative about the airport in his comments at the Elite Jets event and accuse Mayor Heitmann of trying to move the airport when he knows that this is simply not true. The Naples Airport Authority—not the mayor or council—launched the study concerning possibly moving the airport.
